Day 9 – Ibiza: Coco Beach & Las Dalias
After our late night out we slept in until 12pm and got ready to go to Coco Beach at Playa d’en Bossa. We knew today would be a lazy day after partying at the club last night so I reserved us a daybed in advance. Lucky for us there was a front row daybed still open even though we didn’t get there until almost 1pm. Coco Beach is the last beach club at the end of the Playa d’en Bossa strip so it feels a bit more secluded and relaxing compared to the other beach clubs that have music pumping for daytime parties.
I ordered a detox juice, eggs and toast, and took a nice siesta. When I woke up I took a dip in the ocean for a refreshing swim to try and shake off the cobwebs from last night. Around 3:30pm Stelios was getting hungry so we shared the prawn tempura and seafood pasta in a spicy tomato sauce. It was delicious! We stayed at the beach until 5pm and then decided to head back to the hotel.

We didn’t have set dinner plans tonight but were craving another bocadillo after the one we had at S’Escalinata our first night. So we showered, changed, and drove the bike to Can Gourmet, another popular bocadillo spot and ordered two different types. We enjoyed some wine with our meal and both agreed the Iberian jam stractiatella and fig was our favorite but not as good as the one we had at S’Escalinata.

Afterwards we drove 30 minutes to Las Dalias hippie night market which was a cool vibe. It also seemed like the nighttime hangout spot for the hippies of Ibiza that all seem to know each other. There were fresh fruit stands, food trucks, a bar/cafe, and a DJ playing chill house music. There was also a plethora of stalls selling different things from homemade candles and soaps, to jewelry, clothes and other trinkets. I ended up buying a travel sized natural face scrub made with olive oil, turmeric, and other natural ingredients from Ibiza. By 10pm we had explored the full market and all of the stalls. If we weren’t so exhausted we probably would’ve stayed for a drink and listened to the DJ but we were ready for a full night of much needed sleep. By 11pm we were back at the hotel and in bed so we could be well rested for a full day tomorrow.
